The Community Network for Manchester is governed by an Executive Group and a Strategy Group. Together, they ensure that the organisation functions effectively in bringing together voluntary and community sector groups so that they can develop a strong and collective voice on the issues that matter to them.The activity of the Community Network for Manchester is co-ordinated and supported by a core team of people.

Networks are made up of a number of voluntary and community groups, they are concerned with either a community of interest or a geographical area. Some networks also provide an additional strategic function and these are known as ‘pools’. Networks provide a great opportunity to meet and get involved with other groups who share similar interests.
